Four H5N1 deaths in Indo this week. And counting.

I read in some news articles that Indonesia's goal of no bird flu cases was not for the year starting Jan 2008, but Jan 2007.  If this is the case...

If this is the case, Indonesia has failed.  Four dead this week, so far.

On a less Indonesian note, Japan is currently investigating what are likely to be H5N1 outbreaks in chickens.

What else, what else...so much going on in bird flu news these days.  It was quiet, ticking away, but it came out for wintertime and flu season.

H5N1 is back to killing birds in Nigeria.

In non-birdflu news, some of those bears in Russia finally went to sleep.  Good for them!

And, syphilis is making a comeback in China.

I would maybe tell you more things, too, but I have to go and study now.

Wow.  What a boring blog.  What has become of this blog?  No pictures, even.

May I once again suggest?

Item One:  May I once again suggest that you do whatever you can to stay as far away from Indonesia as possible?

the survivors no longer exist

I'm telling you - Indonesia is always up to something, and the something is most always no good.  Volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, calderas, H5N1 infections and on and on and on.

Not that America isn't always up to no good.  America is quite often up to no good.  America has a caldera - a real nasty one, too.  Still, America's no good is more...on purpose.  Less...the apocalypse.

On the plus side, I bet Indonesia is a great place to look for ghosts.  I'm going to google "Indonesia ghosts" right this second.

Ah, check this site!  Shadowlands Indonesia  It seems there are many ghosts in the Jakarta area, including the ghost of a rapped girl; a flying, headless head; and, in Semrang, Lawang Sewu:

"a building with thousand doors...If we go inside this old building, we can see many kind of ghosts, like ghost with no head, Holland young lady killed herself and hang in the door, scream, and so on.  I suggest you come to this building, be careful of getting lost, because this building has 1000 doors."

I suggest you do not go to that building.  Not because of the ghosts - they sound delightful!  Nor am I anti-the thousand doors.  I suggest that you do not go to that building because it is in Indonesia.

Did you know that Indonesia is going to eradicate H5N1 by year's end?  So far, for 2007, they are doing awesome - not one person dead!  Keep up the awesome work, Indonesia!

I truly think that an asteroid is coming.  I think the sea floor beneath Indonesia is calling it, Lovecraft-style.

Okay, I truly am not counting on an asteroid.  But, if an asteroid were coming, I would more strongly recommend that you stay away from Indonesia.
